LAKE CRUISE, LAKE VESIJÄRVI AND PÄIJÄNNE

If you wish to spend a day admiring the Finnish lake scenery, you can take a two-canal cruise from Lahti to Heinola and back on Wednesday. The route goes via two canals and three different lakes; Vesijärvi, Päijänne and Ruotsalainen.

TRIP TO THE TOP SALPAUSSELKÄ
at 16.00 - 18.00

This fun outdoor walking to the top of Salpausselkä suits for everyone. You will meet your guide at the Sibeliustalo at 4 pm. After warming up you will start the walk along the beautiful bank of Lake Vesijärvi. You will hike to Salpausselkä ridge, which will be a unforgettable experience. The landscape from there is breathtaking and you will experience one of the most important attraction in Lahti; Lahti ski-jumping watchtower.

Next you will go down to the sporting centre. There you will visit the Ski Museum where you can try a ski-jumping simulator. About 6 pm you are full of energy and knowledge about Finnish nature and national sports.
Minimum 10 participants required.

Price: 50 euros/person.
Includes: professional guide, entrance fees needed, snacks and soft drinks or coffee.

ALL ABOUT THE CRABS
at 16.00 - 22.30

Spending nice afternoon and evening at Fishing Paradise, next to the Lake Konnivesi. First you get to know details about crabs, of course you will catch some crabs too. There is possibility to do some fishing also. If you are lucky, you will get some salmon from the pond.

This fun and instructive day will end to a traditional Finnish crab party. You will enjoy fresh crabs with drinks, salad and bread. You will be back on your hotel about 10 pm.
Maximum 30 participants accepted.

Price: 110 euros/person
Includes: welcoming coffee and salmon sandwich, lecture about the crabs, boats, traps, licences needed, guide services, crab party dinner.
