Once again, Cleantech Venture Day invites Nordic Cleantech growth companies, venture capital investors and other innovative industry leaders to join the event in Lahti.

Cleantech Venture Day is a networking event for the Nordic cleantech sector:

• A showcase of market driven Nordic clean energy technologies.
• Keynotes on new business opportunities focusing on macro-level factors and energy policy environment.
• Clean energy business cases: energy-saving, distributed power generation (i.a. solar, wind, fuel cell), and clean processing technologies.
• Pitching and deal-making opportunities with leading venture capitalists.

The event is jointly organized by Sitra - the Finnish Innovation Fund, Lahti Science and Business Park, Finnish Cleantech Cluster, Invest In Finland, Cleantech Scandinavia and Cleantech Invest. Lahti Science and Business Park is the coordinator of the Finnish Cleantech Cluster and a leading environmental technology science park.

The city of Lahti is a pioneer in cleantech investor events. Since 2005, Cleantech Venture Day has attracted successfully more than 120 Nordic and Baltic professionals annually (Environment Venture Fair 2005, Cleantech Forum Lahti 2005, Clean Power 2006, Scandinavian Cleantech Capital Day 2007).
